Refunds & Cancellations

1. Overview

This policy describes the refund and cancellation terms for purchases made through the Lumi Chrome extension, operated by Ellvero. We aim to be fair and transparent — if something goes wrong, we want to make it right.

2. What Can Be Purchased

Lumi offers one-time AI credit packs. These are not subscriptions — there are no recurring charges. Each credit pack adds a fixed number of credits to your Lumi account that can be used for AI actions (summarise, rewrite, explain, chat, etc.).

Available Credit Packs:

  • 50 credits — $1.99
  • 150 credits — $4.99
  • 400 credits — $9.99
  • 1,000 credits — $19.99

3. Cancellations

Since Lumi uses one-time credit packs (not subscriptions), there is no recurring billing to cancel. You will never be charged again after a one-time purchase unless you explicitly make another purchase.

You can stop using Lumi at any time by simply uninstalling the Chrome extension. No cancellation process is required.

4. Refund Policy

We offer refunds in the following circumstances:

✅ Eligible for Refund

  • Payment was charged but credits were not added to your account (technical failure).
  • You were charged multiple times for the same purchase (duplicate payment).
  • The amount charged was incorrect or different from the displayed price.
  • Refund request is made within 7 days of purchase and no credits from the pack have been used.

❌ Not Eligible for Refund

  • Credits from the purchased pack have already been partially or fully used.
  • More than 7 days have elapsed since the purchase.
  • The account was suspended for violation of our Terms & Conditions.
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated output quality (as AI responses vary by nature).

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at:

support@ellvero.com

Please include the following in your email:

  • Your registered email address (the one used to sign in to Lumi).
  • The order ID or transaction reference (visible in your payment confirmation).
  • The date of purchase.
  • Reason for the refund request.

6. Refund Processing

  • We will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method.
  • Refund processing may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Once a refund is issued, the corresponding credits will be removed from your Lumi account.

7. Payment Provider

All payments are processed by Cashfree Payments, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We do not store your card details. For payment-related issues, you may also contact Cashfree support, though we recommend reaching out to us first at support@ellvero.com.
